On Saturday, June 18 the CDC sent out a press release recommending children ages 6 months to 5 years of age should get the COVID-19 vaccine. Children ages 6 months to 4 years old can receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and children ages 6 months to 5 years old can receive the Moderna vaccine. This comes a day after the FDA panel’s authorization of these vaccines for these age groups.

This has prompted Dr. Justin Spiehs, most notable for protesting the child-mask mandate, and his supporters to prepare to protest these vaccines.
“I’m protesting to raise awareness that this is an experimental, unproven and unnecessary vaccine and therefore could be dangerous for these children,” Dr. Spiehs said. “I learned during my time protesting the school mask mandates and the vax clinics in the fall that lots of people agree with my position but hardly anyone has the courage to stand up in public to openly oppose the harms that children are being subjected to by the government’s response to covid. So, if not me and a small group of my friends, then who? The answer it seems is, unfortunately, no one.”
Dr. Spiehs also believes there may be a counter protest to his protest and says that if you believe vaccinating young children to be wrong that he hopes you will join him and his friends in the protest.
Thank you for raising awareness.
