While I agree there needs to be election reform I do not like the idea of ranked choice voting. What happened to one person with one vote? You decide who gets your vote and that's it. The person with the most votes is the winner. No ranking of candidates or votes being given to another candidate because your person didn't meet some arbitrary threshold.

What we need is for all parties and candidates to play on equal turf. No sending out multiple ballots to the same person, mail in ballots must arrive early and be counted on election day for them to count, all votes must be counted and finalized within 24 hours of the polls close, no taking 2 or 3 weeks, ID- yes, immigrant vote-no, early voting- yes, vote counts are monitored and done correctly.

Every citizen has a right and obligation to vote. With that said we as voters must take responsibility for making sure that we vote on time, are eligible to vote, and if disabled or elderly accommodations are in place to facilitate your voting needs.

We don't need a new system we just need to fix what's in place to avoid another 2020.
